Ashley House is currently undergoing a refurbishment programme, due for completion in late 2008. Ashley House is conveniently situated within the historic Roman town of Cirencester, and is within easy reach of local shops, amenities and the beautiful Abbey grounds. Purpose-built to the highest specifications in traditional Cotswold stone, the home is set around a charming sheltered courtyard garden that, with its array of pretty tubs and planters, is a delight to sit in. The home has a number of large sunny lounges, and a licensed bar is available where residents may enjoy a pre-dinner drink or entertain their own guests. All of the tastefully decorated bedrooms are light and airy, and all have en-suite facilities for privacy and convenience. Activities are an important part of life at Ashley House and our activity organiser ensures there is always something going on. Activities within the home include games of bridge and scrabble, art workshops and musical entertainment. Out of the home visits are organised to near-by attractions like the Cirencester Polo Club, the Abbey Grounds and the charming Cotswold countryside. |
