Overseen by our interior design consultant, most bedrooms and the communal areas at Cottenham Court have been given sympathetic and attractive redesigns. Completed with co-ordinated soft furnishings and floor coverings, rooms include flat screen televisions with freeview as well as Broadband internet access.

Each room boasts electric profiling beds to ease mobility and to enable independent sitting. The homely setting is completed by the beautifully redecorated corridors, with carefully chosen lighting to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. There are several spacious lounges, which now have flat screen televisions with full Sky package and a conservatory where residents may meet to chat or entertain guests. The elegant dining room overlooks the garden, which features a pond and rose garden to be enjoyed on a sunny afternoon.

Cottenham Court is situated in a pleasant residential area, conveniently located for local shops, and on a main bus route into the historic city of Cambridge. There is a full daily activities menu including gardening, exercise classes, crafts and 'pets as therapy' visits. Students at the Village College regularly invite residents to watch plays and pantomimes.

Cottenham Court also offers care to younger physically disabled people. Also within the grounds are a number of Bupa Assisted Living properties, which can provide maximum privacy and independence, with the reassurance of knowing that help and company is never far away.

Directions

Travelling on the A14 west bound, take the next exit beyond the turning for Milton and A10, signposted Histon and Cottenham. Follow the B1049 into Cottenham. Once in Cottenham village, turn right at the mini-roundabout and the home is situated on the right hand side, opposite the green. The driveway is shared with Cottenham Village College.
